X-World Wallet, a digital multi-currency wallet from the financial service company Netspend, was the official debit card of 2023 Leagues Cup.

During the tournament, they wanted to increase engagement and downloads with X World Wallet Sweeps, a giveaway to win VIP experiences at the games.

Leagues Cup features 47 teams from MLS and Liga MX. To promote the sweepstakes, we wanted to speak to all soccer and futbol fans with a language everyone would understand — Spanglish.

To showcase these two cultures coming together, we shot content featuring Austin FC players Dani Pereira and Jon Gallagher and sports broadcasters Enrique “Perro” Bermudez and Taylor Twellman

We wrote Spanglish into our social copy, hyping fans up for the matches and encouraging them to download the app to enter for their shot to see it in action.
