Timberline Knolls is Illinois’ leading treatment center for eating disorders, mental health, and addiction, in women and young girls.

For the last few years, Timberline Knolls’ in-patient attendance was falling due to negative online reviews while eating disorder rates were rising.

In order to help revitalize their reputation and create broader brand awareness of their mission, we set out to break the stigma around eating disorders by showing that recovery is something that should be spoken about and celebrated.

We kicked off our campaign during National Eating Disorder Awareness Week with a one-night gallery exhibit where we revealed our portraits to Timberline Knolls alumni, friends, and family.

We then printed their portraits with our messaging across Chicago and the country as well as through a social media campaign featuring alumni stories and interviews.

Every piece of media linked to our microsite on the Timberline Knolls website where those struggling could learn that in recovery, they don’t have to fight alone.
