As an independent beer brand, the light lager was being outspent in its home state and was struggling to compete with mass-produced competitors. To stand out, we needed to establish Shiner Light Blonde as “the official light beer of Texas.” Texas prides itself on doing things bigger and better. As an authentic Texas beer, Shiner Light Blonde is How Texas Does Light.

Redesign

We started by giving our cans a design makeover to catch the eye of our active Texas audiences.

We then set the tone for our campaign by showing off how Texas does BBQ, tailgating, and get-togethers — all with Shiner Light Blonde.
